1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on Fun AI Creator, including subscriptions, credit packs, and one-time purchases. We aim to be fair and transparent about when refunds are available and when they are not.
Important: All refund requests must be submitted to support@funaicreator.com. We strongly encourage you to contact our support team before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer.
2. What Applies to What
2.1 Subscription Plans (Monthly / Yearly)
Subscription plans provide recurring access to credits and platform features. Refunds for subscriptions are subject to the eligibility criteria in Section 3.
2.2 Credit Packs (One-Time Purchase)
Credit packs are one-time purchases of additional credits that do not expire. Refunds for unused credit packs are subject to the eligibility criteria in Section 3.
2.3 One-Time Purchases
Any other one-time purchases (such as special promotions or add-ons) are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
3. When Refunds Are Available
You may request a refund within 7 days of your purchase date if any of the following conditions are met:
- Accidental or duplicate charge: You were charged twice for the same purchase, or the charge was unauthorized.
- Unused credits: You have not used any credits from the subscription or credit pack since purchase.
- Platform failure: A verified platform-wide issue prevented you from using the service entirely during the refund window.
- Failure to deliver: A subscription was activated but you were unable to access paid features due to a platform error on our end.
Refund eligibility is determined at our sole discretion based on the evidence provided.
4. When Refunds Are NOT Available
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- Credits already consumed: If any credits from the subscription or pack have been used for generation, the purchase is considered utilized and is not refundable.
- Successful generations: If generations completed successfully and results were available for download, credits were consumed as intended and are not refundable.
- Subjective dissatisfaction: AI-generated content is inherently probabilistic and may not always match your exact vision. A successful generation that is subjectively "unsatisfactory" (wrong style, unexpected elements, minor artifacts) is not grounds for refund. We encourage using different models, adjusting prompts, or trying again.
- Violation of policies: If your account was suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, no refund will be issued.
- Beyond refund window: Requests submitted more than 7 days after the purchase date are not eligible for refund.
- Promotional or discounted purchases: Unless the promotional terms explicitly state otherwise, discounted or promotional purchases are final.
- Chargeback abuse: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting our support team, your account may be suspended and future refund eligibility revoked.
5. Failed Generations & Automatic Credit Refunds
If a generation fails due to a platform error, model error, or timeout (not due to your input or network issues), credits are automatically refunded to your account:
- Automatic refunds typically process within 1-5 minutes of the failure.
- You can verify the refund in your account credit balance.
- If an automatic refund does not occur, contact support with the generation ID (found in your History page) and we will investigate and manually refund within 2 business days.
Important: A generation that completes but produces output you subjectively dislike is not a "failed generation." See Section 4 for details.
6. Cancellation & Remaining Credits
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings:
- Cancellation stops auto-renewal but does not generate a refund for the current billing period.
- You retain full access to your plan and any remaining credits until the end of your current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, unused credits from that subscription may expire according to the credit rollover rules in our Terms.
- No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of a monthly or yearly subscription period.
7. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund request is approved:
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- The time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer (typically 5-15 business days).
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to support@funaicreator.com with the following information:
- The email address associated with your Fun AI Creator account
- Your order ID or transaction reference (found in your payment confirmation email)
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request
- Any supporting details (e.g., error screenshots, duplicate charge evidence)
We review all requests within 3 business days and will notify you of our decision via email.
9. Chargeback Policy
We strongly encourage you to contact our support team before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks damage our relationship with payment processors and often take longer to resolve than direct refunds.
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us:
- Your account may be immediately suspended pending resolution.
- Any remaining credits may be forfeited.
- Future refund eligibility may be revoked.
- If the chargeback is found to be unwarranted, we reserve the right to contest it and recover fees.
10. Payment Processor Role
Payments on Fun AI Creator are processed by Creem.io, a Merchant of Record service. While Creem handles payment processing, subscription management, and tax compliance, all refund decisions are made by Fun AI Creator in accordance with this policy.
